Now hiring across WA, OR, ID, MT & CO — framers, post-frame crew, roofers, siders and lead carpenters. Owner-led jobs. Honest pay. Real work.
Work That Actually Gets Built
Valencia General Construction is an owner-led post-frame, barndominium, and general construction company running jobs across five states. Ramon is on the phone and on the job — which means the standard on the wall matches the standard we sold you on.
If you're a framer, post-frame crew member, roofer, sider, or lead carpenter who's tired of chasing paychecks or babysitting bad plans, we should talk. We keep the work moving, we pay for skill, and we keep the drama off the job site.
The VGC Difference
Owner-led crews. Steady year-round work. Skilled trades treated like skilled trades.

Apply for this roleWhy Work With VGC
You work directly with Ramon and a small core crew — not a rotating cast of PMs. Decisions get made on the job site, not in a boardroom.
Post-frame keeps us building through the year — even in shoulder seasons — across five states. Less waiting, more paychecks.
"Built Strong. Built Right." isn't a slogan — it's the standard on every wall we frame. Skilled trades who care about their work fit here.
Pay reflects skill and experience. We don't lowball people who know what they're doing, and we don't nickel-and-dime the crew on materials or time.
PPE, tidy job sites, and a foreman who actually cares if you go home in one piece. Licensed and insured — you're covered.
Framer to lead carpenter to foreman — the ceiling on this crew is set by the work you do, not by how long you've been here.
Tell us about you and the work you can do. Attach a resume if you have one — a good text description is fine too.
Ramon usually answers the phone himself. If you'd rather skip the form, call or text — bring your experience and we'll take it from there.

Where We Hire
Local applicants preferred. Traveling crews welcome for larger post-frame builds.
Working at VGC
Straight answers on hiring, experience, subs, pay and service area.
Yes. VGC is always taking applications from experienced framers, post-frame crew, roofers, siders, and lead carpenters across our five-state service area. If you can build to a standard and show up ready, we want to hear from you.
For most crew roles we look for at least one full season of framing, post-frame, or general construction experience. Motivated helpers and apprentices are welcome to apply too — tell us what you can already do and what you want to learn.
Yes. We regularly bring on qualified sub crews for framing, roofing, siding, concrete, and electrical/plumbing/HVAC on larger builds. Send your business info and a few recent project photos through the application form.
We hire across our full service footprint: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Colorado. Local applicants are preferred so travel stays reasonable, but crews that can travel for larger post-frame builds are also welcome.
Pay depends on role, experience, and location — we quote a real number after we talk. Ramon believes in paying skilled trades a wage that matches the work; we do not lowball people who know what they are doing.
